Service Description

Come experience what it's like to be a waterman/woman for an hour. This tour will start at Marker Seven Marina where you will board the "Marie Elizabeth." Take the brief boat ride out to the aquatic farm and help pull an oyster pot, learn more about the process, ask questions, and of course enjoy some fresh oysters just minutes after they are pulled from the bay. This trip is for up to four people. The price does not vary if you wish to bring less than four guests. Trip Includes: - 1-hour informational boat tour of Niantic Bay Shellfish Farm - 50 oysters (take home the ones you don't eat!) - A shucking knife for each participant - Gloves for each participant Recommended Gear: - Waterproof boots - Waders (if you have some) - Hat - Sunscreen - Windbreaker Please check the weather before your tour and dress appropriately!
